A Journey Back to the Heart

February 1st-8th

Yoga // Healing Practices // Excursions // Connection

Join Krystal and Reva for an unforgettable week of self-discovery, exploration, and re-connection. We will revel in the beauties of nature and nurture our minds, bodies, and spirits with healing practices, community, and delicious food.

This retreat has a special focus on attending to the heart space and learning how to be more in alignment with the whispers and desires that stem from the inherent wisdom of our own beautiful hearts. It will be a time of "tending to" and "caring for" the tender,  most-in-need, parts of ourselves so that we can more easily shed that which keeps us bound in cycles of self-limiting stories and become more open to the abundance and limitless blessings available to us.

This retreat is a life-changing opportunity to gain clarity, make life-long friendships, and to embrace your true self more fully.  Join a tribe of soul-led humans on an adventure you will remember forever!

Acupressure is mix of reflexology and acupuncture. It is an alternative medicine that is based on the concept of life energy, which flows through "meridians" in the body and attempts to assist in the free flow of energy through these channels. Experience this healing modality with Beverly Taylor who has been practicing this work for over twenty years.

Your Hosts

Reva Myers

Yoga Teacher--Hatha, Yin, and Vinyasa

When Reva found yoga, she loved how the practice made her feel both powerful and peaceful; how it brought a sense of presence that she had never experienced before. She was originally sparked by Hatha and then fell in love with the creativity and dance of Vinyasa.

Her first big plunge to deepen her studies came with the completion of a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified Vinyasa teacher training. Reva later traveled to Bali for her second 200 hour teacher training in Hatha Yoga with Akasha Yoga Academy learning the history and philosophy of this sacred practice. This adventure enriched her teaching style and showed her there is always more to learn!

The study of Yin yoga opened up a new doorway. Reva has found tremendous benefit in slowing down and listening. Insight Yoga training with Sarah Powers drastically changed her approach to practice and teaching. Yang postures with a Yin mentality can connect practitioners to the present moment.

Reva loves being able to share her passion for yoga with her students. She has found balance in her own practice by blending together the flow of Vinyasa and the focus of Hatha. The stillness and reflection of Yin allows more presence in active practice. Restorative yoga helps calm the nervous system, allowing the body to regenerate on a cellular level. Reva believes that all styles of yoga are beneficial. She offers a well-rounded and creative approach, with dynamic classes that are sure to energize and inspire!

Reva, the hostess at Casa Isabel, has spent the past year witnessing the incredible transformations that unfold during yoga retreats within this sacred space. She has been captivated by the profound healing energy that permeates Casa Isabel and feels privileged to be a part of this transformative process. She can’t wait to share it with you!

Krystal Conniry

Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapist, Retreat Coordinator

Krystal believes in the power of presence and loves to witness people becoming more connected to themselves in an authentic and healing way.  She is a practicing Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapist, and Healing Arts Enthusiast. She holds a Master's Degree in Conflict Resolution from PSU and enjoys learning why people and groups do the things they do and how to make the world a more peaceful and just place. Yoga continues to be a life-changing journey of surrender and  transformation for her and she loves to share this gift with the world.

Krystal  received her 200 YTT with Corepower Yoga in 2017 and became certified in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Sculpt shortly after. She has  been teaching solidly ever since and is currently leading yoga and wellness  retreats in Yelapa, Mexico. She finds inspiration from various yoga modalities and healing practices including Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga,  Hot Yoga, Iyengar, Yoga Nidra, and others. This is reflected in her classes, which  are approachable and lighthearted, while holding space for Mystery and the  connection to one's more awakened self. It is an honor for her to be  able to share something so dear to her heart and to encourage others on their path as they awaken  into their own clarity and brilliance.

The Vision

My vision is to provide an inspiring and beautiful environment for the nourishment of mind, body and soul. My team and I offer a sacred space in a breathtakingly beautiful environment for all who wish to experience the benefits of intentional wellness, new and fun experiences, and healthy community.

We believe...

in the power of nourishing experiences, healthy relationships, and in the immersion of nature as a medicinal act. We believe that taking time to fill one's cup is an act of honoring one's whole Self and the world at large.  And that through these experiences we can make contact with our inner wisdom, which allows us to deal with life on life’s terms with an open heart and curious mind. Things begin to flow, we are able to let go of rigid structures and unwanted patterns and get into rhythm with the natural flow of blissful living.

"This was a wonderful all levels yoga retreat. There was a great balance of activity and rest allowing for you to take what you need. Yelapa creates the perfect setting for healing and even unexpected revelations! The overall healing from this retreat is invaluable but fortunately comes at a price point that is manageable for most westerners."

"Beautiful location, wonderful food- awesome yoga! Would do it again!"

"I went in not knowing what to expect and left feeling supported, strong, and with some new knowledge about myself. There were experiences I wouldn’t have had anywhere else that I really loved. I have new friendships, and was so glad to see that part of Mexico, it was delightful. I said many times that the thought and care that went into planning each day was truly exceptional"
